Gaining work experience combined with following relevant education is an important part of De Hoop's clinical treatment offer. Work and education increase your chances of reintegrating well into society.

When you follow treatment at De Hoop, you can also gain work experience at Friends of De Hoop Foundation.

Study center
De Hoop has a study center where you will receive guidance and advise in the area of education and training. Work placements will give you the opportunity to become acquainted with the different work experience projects. Subsequently, you can apply for a work experience position.

  • Christian identity

    At De Hoop Foundation, ideology and identity are very important concepts - in the private as well as the social area.

  • How to apply for treatment at De Hoop

    If you wish to receive treatment or counseling at De Hoop, you need to call the central intake office, located at De Hoop's outpatients' clinic: +31 (0)78 6 11 12 22.

  • De Hoop's front door: intake

    Every client comes through De Hoop's outpatients' clinic. In other words, the outpatient's clinic is De Hoop's front door.

  • Crosspoint motivation center

    Crosspoint is De Hoop's motivation center for people who are addicted and want to become motivated to follow treatment.

  • Therapeutic centers

    If you are motivated to break with your addiction, you can follow clinical care at De Hoop. De Hoop's clinic consists of seven living groups and Therapeutic Center De Brug.

  • Therapeutic center De Brug

    De Brug (‘the bridge') is a therapeutic center for clients who are able to live independently but still need some counseling.

  • General treatment program (44-56 weeks)

    De Hoop offers two different treatment programs for people with substance abuse problems who need 24-hour care. Here, you will find more information about the general treatment program.

  • Basic program

    De Hoop's basic program has a duration of eight weeks. This 24-hour program is suitable for men and women aged 18 and over that have substance abuse problems.

  • Part-time treatment

    Part-time treatment takes place at weekdays. De Hoop offers a two and three version. Part-time treatment is intended for clients who live independently and have reached abstinence.

  • Ambulatory treatment

    Maybe you do not need 24-hour or part-time treatment and you might only need a weekly counseling session with a psychologist.

  • Post-clinical treatment

    If you follow clinical treatment within De Hoop, you are eligible for Post-Clinical Treatment (PCT). Within the PCT, you have your own living accommodation and you run your own household.

  • 12-steps program (Challenge One, Two and Three)

    De Hoop offers a 12-steps program, which is divided into three parts (Challenge One, Two and Three). Here, you will find more information about our 12-steps program.

  • Stay Clean: self-help groups

    Stay Clean is a network of Christian self-help groups, set up by and for people with substance abuse problems.

  • Stay Clean: walk-in project

    Stay Clean's Walk-in Project is intended for people who are addicted and/or lack housing. The walk-in project wants to provide these people with a safe and warm place to stay.

  • Horeb community

    Horeb is a Christian community in Beekbergen. It is part of De Hoop. On its premises, about one hundred men and women receive help for substance abuse or psychosocial problems.

  • Refaja (Rotterdam)

    Because many of De Hoop's clients are from Rotterdam the decision was made to establish a Christian addiction care facility (Refaja) in Rotterdam.

  • Parent/partner work

    Are you a parent or partner of an addict? In that case, you can also find help. Parents and partners often go through a very difficult time due to their children's or partners' addiction.

  • Children of addicted parents

    It is possible for you to take your child(ren) with you when you are admitted to De Hoop's clinical care. When you apply for treatment, intake officers will go through every possibility with you.

  • De Hoop and detention

    You are being detained in prison. You are probably already looking forward to your release. To the time when you can go wherever you want to go. But will you really be free?

  • Visiting clients

    Clients who have been admitted for more than two weeks are allowed to receive visitors.

  • Need help?
