Christian identity

At De Hoop Foundation, ideology and identity are very important concepts - in the private as well as the social area. In a time of professional care, we certainly cannot do without. After all, ideology and identity determine what you do and how you do it.

De Hoop is a Christian organization. Its employees work from their faith. The care that is offered by De Hoop is also based on biblical principles. We believe that people are valuable in God's eyes and that they are not meant to be addicted. De Hoop believes that there is healing and restoration for everyone. De Hoop does not believe in hopeless cases.

You do not have to be or to become Christian in order to be admitted at De Hoop. Part of the treatment program does entail an orientation on the core principles of the Christian faith. Specifically Christian elements of the program, such as bible study or church going, are optional. Only clients following part-time treatment and ambulatory treatment are required to follow the Christian elements of the program. All clients are expected to respect the Christian standards and values that are upheld at De Hoop Foundation.
