About De Hoop

Therapeutic centers

Clients that need 24-hour clinical care will be placed in one of the therapeutic centers, including the living groups and therapeutic center De Brug ('brug' means 'bridge').

Living groups
People with addiction problems that need 24-hour clinical care will be placed in one of De Hoop's five living groups. Every living group has room for ten to fourteen clients. There is also room for the clients' children. The communal living spaces are used for group sessions, meals, recreation, et cetera.

De Brug
Clients that are able to take care of themselves can be admitted to Therapeutic Center De Brug. The main difference between De Brug and the living groups is that clients at De Brug have their own accommodation and run their own households. They do not live in a group. De Brug also has room for the clients' children.

Treatment
The treatment within the centers consists of different levels, each with its own degree of freedom, responsibility and independence. Treatment is made to measure the client's level and needs. Each client participates in the training program. This training program is divided into modules.

At De Hoop, the emphasis lies on individual treatment, Clients, therefore, have individual treatment sessions. Through these sessions, clients are supported in dealing with underlying problems. This is done in accordance with the clients' individual treatment plans. Client as well as the responsible care professional sign the treatment plan. When the client meets his treatment goals, a new treatment plan can be set up, if necessary.

Please note that care can only be offered to Dutch citizens who are registered with the Dutch health insurance fund. Depending on the type of care, other conditions may be set.
