Your visit will consist of several elements. Below, you will find the contents of a half-day and a one-day visit.
During a half-day visit, you will receive and do the following things:
- You will receive information about De Hoop's background, working method and view by means of brochures, videos and conversations.
- You will receive a tour of De Hoop Village, the main location of De Hoop Foundation.
- You will listen and talk to one our clients. He/she will tell his/her story about addiction and the way out.
- At the end of your visit, you will be asked to give an assessment of the visit.
During a one-day visit, you will receive and do the following things:
- You will receive information about De Hoop's background, working method and view by means of brochures, videos and conversations.
- You will receive a tour of De Hoop Village, the main location of De Hoop Foundation.
- You will listen and talk to one of our clients. He/she will tell his/her story about addiction and the way out.
- You will have lunch in De Hoop Restaurant. Here, you will eat with many of our clients and employees.
- After lunch, you will receive a tour of the Oudendijk location. Here, psychosocial care center De Jordaan is located.
- Then, you will have a tour of the Spuiweg location. Here, De Hoop opened its first care center. Nowadays, more than ten projects of De Hoop are located at the Spuiweg.
- At the end of your visit, you will be asked to give an assessment of the day.
