De Hoop International

From several countries, institutions for addiction care and people wanting to help addicts in need contact De Hoop for support. To name a few countries: Surinam, Brazil, the Netherlands Antilles, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Uganda, Romania and Poland. There is often insufficient knowledge abroad about how to prevent addiction and how to treat people with addiction problems in the most effective way.

When people from abroad want to receive training, they can come to De Hoop for a traineeship. Employees from De Hoop also go abroad to offer training and advice. Apart from that, De Hoop closely co-operates with a number of organizations abroad, such as Fundashon pa Maneho di Adikshon (FMA) and Speransa Foundation at Curacao, Krusada Foundation at Bonaire and the National Antidrugs Agency (ANA) in Romania.

Furthermore, De Hoop is also member of the boards of several international organizations, i.e. Rainbow and ISAAC.

Cooperation within the Netherlands
In the Netherlands, De Hoop Foundation closely co-operates with several organizations, institutions and foundations.
Intake outside Dordrecht
Apart from Dordrecht, there are three other places in the Netherlands where people can do intake for De Hoop Foundation: Rijssen, Katwijk and Groningen.
De Hoop and Romania
De Hoop is intimately involved with setting up and expanding addiction care in Romania.
The Netherlands Antilles
At the Netherlands Antilles, De Hoop works together with Krusada Foundation and Speransa Foundation .
