To name a few countries: Surinam, Brazil, the Netherlands Antilles, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Uganda, Romania and Poland. There is often insufficient knowledge abroad about how to prevent addiction and how to treat people with addiction problems in the most effective way.When people from abroad want to receive training, they can come to De Hoop for a traineeship. Employees from De Hoop also go abroad to offer training and advice. Apart from that, De Hoop closely co-operates with a number of organizations abroad, such as Fundashon pa Maneho di Adikshon (FMA) and Speransa Foundation at Curacao, Krusada Foundation at Bonaire and the National Antidrugs Agency (ANA) in Romania. Furthermore, De Hoop is also member of the boards of several international organizations, i.e. Rainbow and ISAAC. |
