Don Moen, worship leader

In 2005, De Hoop Foundation celebrated its 30th anniversary. Together with GMI Music Partners, De Hoop invited renown worship leader Don Moen to give two concerts at De Hoop Village, on November 18 and 19, 2005.

Don Moen's concerts were part of his European tour. He also performed in Australia, the UK, Malaysia, Indonesia en the Philippines. Besides being a worship leader, he has also written over one hundred songs.

The songs sung by Don Moen, express a dedication towards God. The song ‘Two Hands, One Heart,' for instance, is about being prepared to follow God, to do His will: ‘Two hands, one heart, one life to offer You, two hands, one heart, that's what I give to you.'

Don Moen is married, has five children and lives in Mobile, Alabama, USA. For his work as a worship leader and songwriter, he has received several prizes, such as the Dove Award, an award for Christian musicians.
